Blair Waterway Trenchless Design Project challenges included a fast-tracked schedule and limited construction space at the Port, due to ongoing operations within existing container Terminals. Jacobs Associates provided comprehensive engineering services including detailed design, preparation of plans and specifications, construction scheduling, and cost estimating. Our firm also assisted the Port during the bidding phase and engineering assistance during construction. Additionally, this project involved close coordination with multiple utility owners including Qwest, Tacoma Power and Tacoma Water.
