00The Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District has committed itself to a major expansion of its primary sewage conveyance system in order to accommodate rapid growth in the northwest region of Sacramento. The Lower Northwest Interceptor (LNWI) will convey sewage from the New Natomas Pump Station 17 miles south of the region to the Sacramento Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant.
