00On this Design-Build project, Jacobs Associates provided design of this large excavation support scheme with crosslot bracing, which was approximately 180 feet long by 140 feet high by 46 feet deep. Limiting ground settlement was critical because of the proximity of brick buildings supported on shallow foundations. During this project, significant coordination was required with the owner, project geotechnical engineer, and structural designers.
