00Working within an integrated design team comprised of MWD’s engineers and Jacobs Associates personnel, the firm’s design services included cost estimates for all underground facilities and development of contract drawings for the primary ground support for the shaft, tunnel and tower excavations and for the final lining for the new outlet and connector tunnels. The design work also included the development of grouting programs for the various excavations to control water inflows, as well as development of specifications for the above aspects of the project.
