00The Pump Station Shaft, approximately 110 feet in excavated diameter and 190 feet deep, was constructed to pump the sewage out of the tunnel to the R.L. Sutton treatment plant. A concrete diaphragm wall, socketed into rock, supports the overburden section of the shaft.
