As manager of our Seattle Claims Group, Mr. LaFraugh assists with handling and resolving clients' construction disputes. An expert analyst of construction performance, Mr. LaFraugh examines in detail the issues arising in cost and schedule variances: entitlement, disruption, delay and additional compensation due. He presents and supports his findings through reports and expert witness testimony. Mr. LaFraugh draws upon his prior experience up through the ranks of construction: Laborer, Engineering Technician, Project Engineer, Estimator and Project Manager. His background in heavy civil, industrial and building construction spans more than 20 years.

Mr. LaFraugh's nine year history with Jacobs Associates began in 1990 upon joining our San Francisco Claims Group. In 1996 he left to lead Stanislaw Ashbaugh's Construction Consulting Group, but he returned to Jacobs Associates as a Senior Associate in 2003. Mr. LaFraugh, a California-registered professional engineer, earned his MS in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in Construction Management, from the University of California, Berkeley. He received his BS in Civil Engineering from Cornell University.
