Jacobs Associates Makes ENR’s List of Top 500 Design Firms
Jacobs Associates was recently ranked number 438 on Engineering News Record’s (ENR) annual list of Top 500 Design Firms. The Top 500 Design Firms list, published every April, ranks the 500 largest U.S.-based engineering, architectural and environmental design firms, both publicly and privately held, based on design-specific revenue.
ENR’s Top 500 Design Firms generated design revenue of $80.02 billion in 2009, down 11.7% from 2008’s mark of $90.58 billion. Of the firms appearing on both this year’s Top 500 and the 2009 list, 70% reported a decline in design revenue. But while these companies’ design revenues went down, Jacobs Associates revenues increased compared to the prior year.
