Caldwell Winery Wine Cave
This project included the construction of an approximately 10,500 square foot (975.5 sq. m) underground space with two portals. The cave is a modified horseshoe shape with spans that range from 13.5 feet (4.1 m) to approximately 16 feet (4.9 m). It is used both for wine storage and guest entertainment. Jacobs Associates performed geologic mapping and characterization, and developed construction plans and details for tunnel ground support.
