Schug Winery Wine Cave Addition
Working for a wine cave contractor, Jacobs Associates designed a wine storage addition to an existing wine cave at the Schug Carneros Estate Winery in Sonoma County, California. The new cave measures 12 feet (3.6 m) wide and 10 feet (3 m) high. We also designed a 100-foot-long (30.5 m), 6-foot-wide (1.8 m), 9-foot-high (2.7 m) tunnel connection to the existing wine cave. The new cave was designed to be more moisture resistant and to have a lower ambient humidity.
