Senior Tunnel Design Engineer

Jacobs Associates in Seattle is looking for a Senior Tunnel Design Engineer with 4 to 10 years of experience in geotechnical or structural engineering, preferably with some experience in the design of tunnels, temporary excavation support systems, and underground structures.

Requirements

• BS Degree in Civil Engineering with structural or geotechnical emphasis.
• Ability to complete a variety of assignments, such as the development of drawings, specifications, and technical memoranda that present the basis of design.
• A background in rock mechanics, soil mechanics, groundwater, settlement analysis and construction engineering would be considered beneficial.
