Senior Structural Engineer

Jacobs Associates’ San Francisco office is looking for a Senior Structural Design Engineer with 10+ years of experience in structural engineering design to assist in the design of large scale public works and transit projects. Candidates with a background in the design of tunnels, underground structures and temporary excavation support systems, are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
• Ability to develop and review designs, drawings, specifications, and technical memoranda.
• Project Managment experience and demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring technical staff
• In addition to design experience, AutoCAD and BIM modeling experience are considered advantageous.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
