Senior Pipeline Designer

The Senior Pipeline Designer is a civil engineering position requiring a minimum of 12 years experience in the detailed design and construction of large-diameter pipelines. This position will be based out of the San Francisco office.

Requirements

• BS degree in Civil Engineering.
• MS degree and/or specialized education in pipeline structural analysis is a plus.

In addition, candidate should have experience with one or more of the following:

• Steel pipe design, including alternative joints, coatings and linings, and operational and maintenance requirements.
• FRRP manufacturing and design, including alternative joints, testing and installation, and operational and maintenance requirements.
• Plastic pipe (HDPE, PVC, etc.) design and installation requirements.
• Expertise in coatings, linings, and long term durability of water and wastewater conveyance pipelines.

Other qualities that are strongly desired include:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work on multiple projects with a variety of younger staff.
• The interest and ability to market work throughout the company.
