A Brief History
Since the firm's founding in 1954, we have focused
on providing design engineering consistent with the physical realities
of
construction.
From
an early emphasis on services for contractors, our practice has broadened
over the years. Today we serve a variety of clients including
owners and other engineering firms. Our projects involve water supply
tunnels, wastewater treatment
tunnels and systems, pipelines, hydroelectric power schemes, rapid
transit projects, bridges, roadways, construction
excavations, slope stabilization, marine structures, and wine caves.
A closely-held California company incorporated in 1956, Jacobs Associates
